The short version: Pocastock does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Your photos are never permanently stored — they are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Everything about your collection lives only on your device.

1. Who we are

Pocastock is a K-pop photocard identification and collection management app operated by Pocastock (pocastock.com). For any privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we do NOT collect

We are committed to your privacy. We do not collect:

Your name, email address, or any account information
Your location or device identifiers
Your browsing history or app usage patterns
Any financial or payment information
Contacts, messages, or any other personal data from your device

3. Photos and images

When you scan a photocard, your image is temporarily transmitted to our recognition service solely to perform the identification. We handle your photos as follows:

No permanent storage: Uploaded images are not saved to any database.
Auto-deletion: Any temporary copy is automatically purged within 24 hours.
No sharing: Your photos are never shared with or sold to third parties.
No training: Your images are not used to train AI models or for any other purpose beyond the immediate identification request.

4. Local storage

Your personal collection, scan history, and app preferences are saved locally on your device only. We have no access to this data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

5. Analytics

We may collect minimal, anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., how many scans are performed per day) purely to improve app performance. This data contains no personal identifiers and cannot be linked back to any individual user.

6. Third-party services

The app uses the following third-party services only for core functionality:

Apple App Store: Download and payment processing. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Image recognition API: Processes your photocard image temporarily for identification. No data is retained beyond 24 hours.

We do not integrate any advertising networks, data brokers, or social media trackers.

7. Children's privacy

Pocastock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly address it.

8. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. For any data stored locally on your device, you can remove it by uninstalling the app. For any questions or concerns, contact [email protected].

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
